چکیده
As the top emitter of carbon dioxide worldwide, China faces a considerable challenge in reducing emissions to combat global warming. Carbon from coal consumption is primary source China. The decomposition driving factors and quantification regions industries needs further research. Thus, this paper decomposed five affecting China, namely, emission intensity, energy structure, economic output, population scale, by constructing Kaya-Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index (Kaya-LMDI) model with data on 1997 2019. It was revealed that output intensity effects are major drivers inhibitors respectively. contribution impact these were analyzed for different industrial sectors. results showed increased 3211.92 million tons From regional perspective, Hebei Province has most significant due effect output. Additionally, sector had pronounced influence effect. Finally, series measures reduce including controlling total consumption, improving utilization rate clean energy, optimizing structure proposed based China’s actual development.

Factors Affecting Regional Per-Capita Carbon Emissions in China Based on an LMDI Factor Decomposition Model
China is considered to be the main carbon producer in the world. The per-capita carbon emissions indicator is an important measure of the regional carbon emissions situation. This study used the LMDI factor decomposition model-panel co-integration test two-step method to analyze the factors that affect per-capita carbon emissions. The main results are as follows. (1) During 1997, Eastern China,...

Carbon emissions calculation at the sub-provincial level has issues in limited data and non-unified measurements. This paper calculated the life cycle energy consumption and carbon emissions of the building industry in Wuhan, China. The findings showed that the proportion of carbon emissions in the construction operation phase was the largest, followed by the carbon emissions of the indirect en...
متن کاملDecomposition of Factors Impact on Carbon Emission for China Based on LMDI
Abstract: As earth climate warms rapidly, the problem of carbon emissions has become a universal concern, the study of the factors involving carbon emissions will be the basis in finding the way to the reduction. LMDI established a framework to study the change in emission intensity and its mechanism. Using the extend Kaya Identity to decompose the driving factors into energy structure, energy ...
